Spokane Measles Outbreak

Officials with the Spokane Regional Health District have confirmed a measles infection in a Spokane County adult. Officials are working to identify how the unvaccinated individual was exposed, but there is no indication of recent travel or contact with a known case. Spokane County has not had a documented case of measles since 1994.

The Spokane Regional Health District has put together a Frequently Asked Questions page to provide updates and information about measles, possible places of exposure, symptoms, risks, treatment, vaccine, and how to protect yourself and family from the outbreak.
